Welcome to Cheryl Frampton Studios where creativity, transformational workshops for all things interiors meet. Cheryl is a certified furniture & faux painter paint therapist for over 10 years of experience in faux finishing and furniture transformation will help you find not only your own creativity and style but lead you on an exhilarating journey of self discovery.
I will show you how using Chalk Paint and a ray of furniture embellishments, from transfers, to stamps, paint inlays, gilding, chippy and texture, mould, to name but a few, you will learn how to unlock your own DIY and Interior Designer potential.
All the necessary tools, and aprons, and refreshments are provided. All your need to do is decided what you want workshop you wish to try and if you choose a full day workshop, what piece of small furniture you would like to bring.
All you need to bring is your desire to unlock your creative spirt. From beginners and experienced there is a workshop for you bursting with tips and techniques to take your ideas and projects to the next level for you to create your own creation for your home.
Depending on your choice of workshop space at my home studio is from 1-4.
Workshops are flexible according to schedule and need at least 7 days ahead of time in case of any cancellations.
6 Hours of Instruction:
This is a FULL DAY of hands on learning to Furniture Painting and Finishing Masterclass.
PLEASE NOTE: BRING A SMALL PIECE OF FURNITURE YOU CAN CARRY THAT YOU WISH TO TRANSFORM. eg: small side table, chair, bedside cabinet. You must be able to carry it yourself.
There are no hard and fast rules as such. We start of the morning with learning about prep of furniture- including when to use primer, stain blocker and how to tell which is best.
Moving on to working with chalk paint on boards for various flexibility and textures.
You will learn about various waxes, gilding wax , plaster and gold leaf and sealing.
After a light lunch you then start transforming your chosen small piece of furniture with my guidance taking inspiration from what you have learned or refreshed your memory in the morning.
Until I see what you bring as to what it may need - for e.g Stain Blocker - however in the afternoon it all happens.
We start a 10am - 4pm.
Space is limited to 2 people only- (maybe bring a friend)
You will have access to all materials, paints, and accessories-
Refreshments available all day and and light lunch is also included.

This amazing workshop is limited to two people and takes place at my studio in Mere only and on a Saturday.
The day is extremely full and very much technique orientated.
